These ladies have a staff, get protection even when shopping anonymously.. and their "humanitarian work" is laughably insignificant. The blog French Politics (a good one) reported that Hollande was not doing well at his press conference. http://artgoldhammer.blogspot.fr/2014/01/hollandes-news-conference.html

There are several posts about it up on the site and they are all worth reading.

TeNgaere, Times have changed. What is a bit sad is that I read reports that said he seemed happy to be with this woman and that they gave indications of being quite fond of each other. Who knows what the truth is but reading it I felt for the guy. I really did.

Victoria FERAUGEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16319699673885400472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2424131704277823220.post-39762903984233262762014-01-15T11:46:45.660+01:002014-01-15T11:46:45.660+01:00Imagine Indeed...

So simple, so organic, so carefree, so natural. And so terribly Parisian. Surely, the highest form of civilisation, and the envy of the world. What other head of state could actually do the same? None. And no other head of state could survive the revelation totally unscathed." Things are not going well n any event. Now he has to battle this story. Any way you slice it, he can demand his privacy rights, but since he is the President, there really is no such thing. You don't get to have power and then expect no one to notice you. You never know how it will all play out in the end, however...these days Bill Clinton seems to be much more popular than any other Democrat in the US.

People have short memories in politics, but also Hollande is digging a pretty deep hole.P.
